Instagram took over from Clubhouse

Instagram took over from the new social network Clubhouse and created “rooms” for communication – Live Rooms. This is reported in blog social network.

With this feature, the user will be able to invite up to three people to broadcast live.

Previously, only one user could be invited to a live stream. “Today we’re introducing Live Rooms, allowing you to go live on Instagram with up to three more people,” the post said.

Instagram notes that users will be able to host talk shows or host music sessions. The company is also working on introducing “new audio features” that will become available in the coming months.

Clubhouse is a new social network that can only be registered with an invitation. The service quickly gained worldwide popularity largely due to the attention to it of celebrities, in particular the founder of SpaceX Elon Musk.

Earlier it was reported that Instagram will permanently delete user accounts for offensive statements in private messages. Also in early February, Instagram introduced the function of recovering recently deleted posts. In addition, the social network has introduced additional measures to protect users, which will not allow hackers to hack accounts and delete posts.
