Florist responded to Zhirinovsky’s words about flowers for women

Florist Serafima Olina on the air of the radio “Moscow speaking” responded to the words of the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who called for a ban on the import of flowers from abroad, since they are the cause of epidemics. Writes about it RIA News

“It seems to me that this is on the verge of some kind of madness,” said Olina. She drew attention to the fact that all goods are checked for safety upon import. Each flower, batch and delivery is certified for compliance and for the absence of any sanitary and epidemiological violations, and must have the appropriate documents, the florist explained.

She added that the ban on the import of flowers will lead to a shortage of plants, the popularity of which has grown markedly during the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier, Vladimir Zhirinovsky announced the need to completely ban the import of flowers from abroad, since they are the cause of epidemics. He expressed the opinion that it is better to give women fewer flowers, but that they are safe.
