Ambulance doctors who rescued people during the coronavirus pandemic spoke about their work during this difficult time.

On April 28, Russia officially celebrates the professional holiday of this service for the first time.

So, the head of substation No. 48 of the Station of ambulance and emergency medical care. A.S. Puchkova, anesthesiologist-resuscitator Yan Kurin shared with Izvestia that at the beginning of the pandemic he was not at home for six months due to fear of infecting loved ones with coronavirus.

“Parents have diabetes and other risk factors. They were isolated in a private house, and I sometimes came to them, we talked at a safe distance, over the fence. Mostly they got by with phone calls and video calls, ”he said.

According to the doctor, he spent his birthday alone in a hotel room, with a cake and three balloons.

In turn, the paramedic of the Gudermes ambulance substation Maskhud Izrapov worked during the pandemic, despite his venerable age – 70 years. He has been working in this service for 45 years.

He said that he was saved from infection by high immunity, which was formed due to the constant presence of sports and moderate nutrition in his life.
