His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, affirmed that Dubai does not lean on what it has achieved in terms of achievements, but rather continues the process of continuous modernization and development to safeguard its gains and build on them embodying the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the State and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and with the continuous follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, with the aim of preserving the emirate’s excellence and leadership, and enhancing the quality of life for all members of its community, stressing His Highness affirmed that the rapid global changes necessitate that we redouble efforts and unify them to promote the process of sustainable development, and affirm Dubai’s position as the best place to live and work in the world.
This came during a meeting with His Highness and the main working group concerned with developing the strategic plan for Dubai 2030, with the launch of the first workshop for the team, which includes representatives of 44 governmental and semi-governmental entities to work together under the umbrella of the Dubai government to define the basic objectives of the plan.
During the meeting, His Highness the Deputy Ruler of Dubai stressed the need to continue working with the “number one” approach and thought established by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him. Reaching the best results, His Highness pointed out that Dubai has entered a new phase in the race towards the future that requires creative and creative ideas that raise the quality of life of all members of Dubai society to the highest levels.
