This Thursday, a policeman was run over by a car in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo while he was chasing a thief who had stolen a woman’s cell phone on public roads.
The persecution began after the personnel of the Neighborhood Police Station 14 C of the City Police were alerted by a cyclist about the theft, in which two criminals participated.
Immediately, one of the criminals, 28, was arrested, while the other managed to elude the agents and fled. During the chase, one of the officers was rammed on Figueroa Alcorta avenue by a car.
The accident victim was treated and it was found that suffered multiple injuries, for which he was transferred to the Churruca Hospital, where he is out of danger.
As reported by Misconduct Prosecutor’s Office Number 4, headed by Dr. Tedezco and before Dr. Carelli’s Secretariat, a file was drawn up on the driver of the vehicle for the injuries that the policeman received.
The Criminal and Correctional Court Number 22 intervenes in the case, under the charge of Dr. Rongo and before the Secretariat 148 of Dr. López Cabanillas.
