Ukraine urged “not to relax” after Putin’s message

Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin expressed concern after the message of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly and urged Ukrainians “not to relax.” He wrote about this in his Twitter-account.

Klimkin concluded that the Russian leader “will not reckon with us; will set the red lines himself; will act asymmetrically and rigidly. ” “Therefore, we do not relax, we critically need readiness inside the country and outside help,” the former minister wrote, without specifying what the Ukrainians should “prepare” for.

On Wednesday, April 21, President Vladimir Putin’s message to the Federal Assembly took place. It became the 27th in the modern history of Russia and the 17th for the current president of the country. During the speech, which lasted 78 minutes, Putin, in particular, compared the enemies of Russia with the negative characters from the book about Mowgli – the tiger Sherkhan and his henchman the jackal Tabaki. “Immediately around them, like around Sher Khan, all sorts of small Tobaccos are spinning. They whine to appease their sovereign, ”the president said.
