Delayed consultation and surgery services resume in Guanajuato

After the progressive reduction of COVID-19 infections, the Family Medicine Units (UMF) recovered the services and medical consultations that had been left behind by the pandemicTherefore, the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) in Guanajuato called on the population to retake them in this Fourth National Day for the Recovery of Ordinary Services.

This conference will take place from July 2 to 4 within the framework of the strategy “100 days to move to IMSS“, in which the medical units that agglomerate the greatest benefit of patient services.

The hospitals that will participate in this event are the General Hospital of Zone (HGZ) No. 2 of Irapuato, No. 3 of Salamanca, No. 4 of Celaya, No. 21 of León, the Subzona General Hospital (HGZS) No. 54 of Silao and the Regional General Hospital (HGR) No. 58 from León.

Likewise, the High Specialty Medical Units (UMAE) No. 1 and No. 48 of León with consultations and highly complex surgical procedures with specialties such as: Neurosurgery, Traumatology and Orthopedics, General Surgery, Angiology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Proctology, Urology, Plastic Surgery, Oncological Surgery, among others.
