The RKI has announced the current corona numbers for Germany. The incidence continues to rise.
Berlin – The 7-day incidence in Germany has risen again. According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Friday morning, it was 70.3 – the previous day the value was 66.0, and a week ago it was 48.8. When reporting the Germany-wide corona incidence, there had been an error the day before. In the early morning, the incidence value of 33.0, which was not very plausible, was displayed on the RKI dashboard.
The health authorities in Germany reported 12,029 to the RKI within one day corona* -New infections. This is evident from the numbers that reflect the status of the RKI dashboard at 4:00 a.m. A week ago, the value for Germany was 9280 infections. The incidence value is currently over 200 in three cities in Germany: Wuppertal (238.3), Leverkusen (224.5) and Rosenheim (201.3). New corona infections in Germany: a total of almost 4 million detected infections
According to the new information, 14 deaths were recorded across Germany within 24 hours. A week ago there were 13 deaths. The RKI has counted 3,913,828 detected infections with Sars-CoV-2 since the beginning of the pandemic. The actual total number is likely to be significantly higher, as many infections are not detected.
