Fourth Paralympic medal Norbruis: silver in 500 meter time trial | Paralympic Games

Track cyclist Alyda Norbruis has won silver in the 500 meter time trial in the class C1-3 at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. Only the Australian Amanda Reid was faster than the 32-year-old Friezin. Reid clocked a world record with 38,487. Norbruis recorded 39.002.




It is already the fourth Paralympic medal for Norbruis. She also won silver in the 500m time trial in London 2012. In Rio 2016 she was crowned Paralympic champion in this part. In the Brazilian city, she also added silver in the road race in cycling.

Recover wheelchair basketball players

The wheelchair basketball players recovered from Thursday’s surprising defeat against China (38-45) with a monster victory over Algeria of 109-18. Mariska Beijer distinguished herself with 33 points.

Bruinsma to swimming final

Lisette Bruinsma swam to the final of the 50 meter freestyle in the class S11. She set the second fastest time with 30.26. Bruinsma won silver in the 400 meters free on Thursday.
