Russian athlete Alexander Yaremchuk won gold at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo in the 1500-meter race among athletes with musculoskeletal disorders. It is reported by TASS

The athlete covered the distance in 3 minutes 52.08 seconds. The second place was taken by the athlete from Bulgaria Khristiyan Stoyanov, and the third – by the Ugandan David Emong.

It is noted that 26-year-old Yaremchuk is a two-time European champion and a bronze medalist of the World Championship.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian Albert Khinchagov won the gold medal of the Paralympic Games in Tokyo in shot put. The 24-year-old athlete showed the result of 15.78 meters. Khinchagov competed in the F37 category (persons with musculoskeletal disorders).
