The authorities of the State Secretariat of Public Health confirmed the death of a 14-year-old girl who was intubated by ccomplications after contracting covid-19.
It is the third death in minors infected with the virus registered in August in San Luis Potosí. The first case was that of a 17 year old teenager what did i have like?risk actor a neurological disease and another minor of 11 years passed away on Monday.
The 14-year-old teenager, originally from the community of Ojo de Agua de Solano in the municipality of Ciudad Fernández, like the 11-year-old boy, faced the virus with the risk factor for obesity, as reported by state authorities.
The three minors who have died so far in the third epidemic wave were residents of the municipality of Fernández City. In the last 24 hours, the results were received from the federal authorities on the isolates registered in the genetic sequencing entity of COVID-19 infections.

Two thousand 720 people are reported in the entity as active cases of covid-19.
