Truck drivers maintain strike for the 1st, but without closing roads

The stoppage of truck drivers is maintained for the 1st of November, but without interruption of roads and highways. The truck drivers, who are protesting against the increase in fuel, are expecting a government proposal until the 31st.

“If the government doesn’t signal anything by the 31st, on the 1st we’ll dawn with our arms folded. The category decided on this,” said the president of the Brazilian Association of Motor Vehicle Drivers (Abrava), Wallace Landim, o Chorão, to Uol.

The category calls for a review of Petrobras’ pricing policy and the freight table. The expectation is that the stoppage will be concentrated in the Port of Santos for 15 days.
