This Friday (26) Argentina’s Federal Police arrested one of the suspects in the attack on the headquarters of the newspaper Clarín, which took place earlier this week. According to information in the Argentine press, the detainee is a 44-year-old Uruguayan anarchist, who was identified from security camera footage.
In the suspect’s apartment, two drums were found that apparently contained gasoline. In their profiles on social networks, the police verified the suspect’s participation in anarchist movements and found several publications against Clarín.

The building where Grupo Clarín’s headquarters are located, located in the Barracas neighborhood of Buenos Aires, was attacked with Molotov cocktails, but there were no injuries in the incident. The building was closed at the time of the attack. Molotov cocktails hit a door in the entrance hall, causing a fire to break out.
