It’s not fair, we’re not saying that,” Johnson said. “I firmly believe that children should stay in school and I also think that Christmas should go by in the most normal way possible. What we are trying to do is cope with the Omicron variant: this means taking some tough measures at the border and also some measures to to make sure people isolate themselves if they come into contact with an Omicron case. “
