There are 5,397 coronavirus infections in Lombardy today, 19 December 2021, according to numbers and covid data from the region’s bulletin. Since yesterday, another 18 deaths have been recorded, bringing the total number of victims to 34,736 since the beginning of the coronavirus emergency. The current positives are 67,668 (+ 4,551), while the discharged / recovered are 895,457 (+828).
The update on the beds available in the medical area for Covid patients was sent to the Ministry of Health, which will subsequently be published on the Agenas website. With an increase of 1,752 beds, the new value is 10,237, close to the maximum ceiling of 10,500 beds.
There is no variation in the number of ICU places which remains 1,530.
