I am 836 new infections from Coronavirus today Friday, December 3 in Sicily, according to Covid-19 data from the latest regional bulletin. Since yesterday there have been 5 deaths, of which only one occurred today and the others in the previous days, bringing the total death toll to 7,223 since the start of the pandemic. In the last 24 hours, 26,359 molecular and antigenic swabs were processed. On the island, the current positives rise to 12,822. Of the current positives, 311 patients are hospitalized with symptoms, while 45 patients are in intensive care.
This is the breakdown of the new cases on a provincial basis: 177 in Palermo, 182 in Catania, 193 in Messina, 31 in Ragusa, 29 in Trapani, 77 in Syracuse, 50 in Caltanissetta, 69 in Agrigento and 28 in Enna.
