Wall Street closes on a high with Nasdaq driven by technology rally – ISTOÉ MONEY

(Reuters) – The major Wall Street indices ended Tuesday’s session with sharp rallies as investors lost some of their anxiety over the latest variant of the coronavirus and went after tech stocks, which boosted the Nasdaq.

According to preliminary data, the S&P 500 rose 2.07% to finish at 4,686.84 points, while the Nasdaq Composite jumped 2.99% to 15,680.87 points, and the Dow Jones rose 1.42% , to 35,719.24 points.
