In Russia, over the past day, 8803 new cases of coronavirus were detected. The total number of infections since the beginning of the pandemic was 4,771,372. The operational headquarters for combating the spread of infection announced this on its Telegram channel on Monday, April 26.

The largest increase in infections is observed in Moscow (2687), St. Petersburg (706), Moscow (609), Rostov (234) and Nizhny Novgorod (177) regions. Least of all – in the Republic of Tyva (2) and Magadan region (2).
During the day, 356 deaths were recorded, the total death rate was 108,588.
The daily number of recoveries was 6631, total – 4 394 639.
