Macri, in fact, traveled in the last days to Córdoba, a tour that combines golf, relaxation and politics, installed in a comfortable hotel in Alta Gracia that you have already visited on other occasions. In that sense, he had planned to participate in a meal with a score of leaders from that province. Among them, Santos himself.
This year, Together for Change puts both benches into play that she has held in the Senate since 2015: that of the radical Ernesto Martínez and that of Laura Rodríguez Machado, one of the strong women of the PRO in the Mediterranean province. On the side of the ruling party, the Senate is defeated by Carlos Caserio.
One of the concerns these days for the opposition side is what Mario Negri will do, one of the popes of Cordovan radicalism, who must decide whether to renew his seat in the Lower House – he is the head of the interblock – or if, on the contrary, try your luck in the upper house.
The opposition alliance needs, according to parliamentary sources, to renew the five deputies whose mandate expires this year, and scratch at least one more bench to compensate, if necessary, the performance of other districts.
In this internal discussion, the figure of Santos – who in any case carries a low level of knowledge in his province – begins to take on another relevance.
