HS Hyvinkää Million damage from fire in Hyvinkää: The fire in the plane’s office building on Thursday was extinguished early on Friday morning

Police are investigating the cause of the fire.

Elevator company The fire that broke out on the plane’s office property on Thursday has been put out. Firefighting work on Myllykatu continued through the night until midnight on Friday morning.

The fire from the roof structures is estimated to have caused millions of euros in damage. The building was not completely destroyed by fire, but the fire destroyed the roof itself and came as well as fire-fighting structures beneath it.

However, no one was injured in the fire.

Police are beginning to find out more about the cause of the fire today.

Rescue Department received an alarm mission at the fire site shortly before noon on Thursday. At two in the afternoon, Hyvinkää was informed about smoke that was dangerous to health.

In the evening the danger was said to be over. The spread of the fire had been stopped, but the extinguishing work was expected to take another hour.

A maximum of more than 20 rescue units have been extinguishing the fire.

The machine The building in Hyvinkää Hiiltomo has office and laboratory space. The premises were undergoing renovations.

Normally the premises would have about a hundred employees. Now some of them were already telecommuting. The rest of the workers and also those in nearby buildings were evacuated to safety when the fire broke out.

Thus, personal injuries were completely saved in the fire.
