40 years old | Susanna Laine has learned to see the golden edge in everything – She is no longer annoyed that the doors of the Theater Academy stayed closed

Presenter, journalist and actress Susanna Laine has learned to focus on only one project at a time – and almost succeeded in it.

In front is a holiday – and presenter and actor Susanna Laineella is fast.

Farmi Suomi The descriptions of the program in Hankasalmi are on a break for a day, so Laine wants to rush to her friend in Tampere as soon as possible.

And that’s where the end days of summer are. Next time, Laine will breathe in the fall.

“Now there’s a tight work pipe on. When Farmista is free, i am Encrypted lives descriptions, ”Laine says.

Acting has been Laine’s biggest dream since she was a child, and she has been involved in several theater and summer theater productions. Now the focus on the TV series was made possible by the fact that Laine ended her six-year-old plotter Yle Half past six in November 2020.

Half past six is a wonderful program that always looks like its presenters, and that’s why I enjoyed it so well. I knew I could easily do it for the rest of my life. A strong desire to play more and, on the other hand, to have more free time were behind my decision. ”

Laine thought that from this year onwards, she would only focus on one project at a time. Now there are already two. It laughs at Wave, though sometimes he’s also in pain in the grip of hurry.

“However, I don’t run into a plot gig in the meantime. Maybe I have inherited this doing from my parents. ”

THE WAVE WAS BORN To a “fairly ordinary” Seinäjoki family. My mother was at work at the hospital, my father a car dealer. The wave was an evening star again. The difference between big brother and sister was 13 and 18 years.

“It was kind of like being the only child in that situation. The siblings already had their own mood. ”

Big Sister-Tiina’s career in beauty and towards the 1984 Miss Games began around the time of Laine’s birth.

“He was abroad for filming and brought gifts while visiting home. Later, I got involved in the back rooms of the fashion shows. It was terribly exciting, ”Laine says.

“When I later came out in public, it didn’t feel so wonderful anymore.”

Laine’s mother sang and went to art exhibitions and opera with her daughter. For under-school-age Laine, the four-hour opera experiences were fascinating, and she informed her mother that she wanted to be an actress.

The parents supported their daughter, who attended piano lessons, art school, and went to work in the theater as a teenager. However, they wished he would have been patient to go to college.

“I read open communication courses and got educational entrance exam books to my parents’ liking. After high school, I didn’t want to stay in the vaginal village, but immediately left for Helsinki. ”

IN HELSINKI WAVE did various jobs as a telephone salesman and Alko salesman. Already in high school, he had been working in summer in Helsinki. At the same time, model gigs began.

“It was a nice job that made me a little study money, but maybe not my dream. And I wanted to follow a different path than my sister. ”

At the age of 23, Laine participated in misses. According to him, the decision was spontaneous, and at the same time a last resort, as the upper age limit was 23.

Laine was chosen as the second Miss Princess of Finland in 2005. She was third at the Miss International in Japan that same year.

“That year was great and opened the doors, but I didn’t give up on my dream. After my trip to Japan, I contacted various theaters and asked for jobs. I got to Vihti Amateur Summer Theater the same summer. ”

BEFORE THE MISSIONS Laine had applied to the Theater Academy, but could not. So he studied theater at Lahti Folk High School and Polytechnic.

In total, Laine applied to the Theater Academy five times without entering. Disappointment would flutter every time.

“Until the age of thirty, it annoyed me, but now I’ve gotten over it.”

Laine says that she has learned to see the golden edge in this cloud as well.

“If I had gotten into school, I might have been in some provincial theater at the moment, and then there could have been a lot of funny TV shows left over,” Laine says.

“The prerequisite for happiness and balance is to be able to finally tell meaningful stories of even bad experiences. When you learn to turn things that went wrong into victory, you can go a long way in life. ”

MEANING LIFE According to Laine, the condition is that you can say no. Sometimes rush has caused health problems: palpitations and insomnia.

“I’m fast-paced by nature, but I try to learn to do things more slowly and less. With age, leisure has become even more important. ”

In recent years, Laine has learned to vacation, even to be lazy. Until the busy fall, he sought energy from a five-week vacation.

“I was like Ellu’s chicken and didn’t worry about anything. I swam, sunbathe and popped during Mänttä Fine Arts Weeks. ”
