For six weeks, the State Secretariat of Health (SSH) continues to register an increase in positive cases in the entity and for this Friday’s cut, there are already 53 thousand 757 cases, that is, 376 more in 24 hours; as well as 22 unfortunate deaths, reaching 6,782 more deaths.
“The pandemic is very active and society is asked to continue respecting and applying sanitary measures, use of face masks, antibacterial gel and maintain a healthy distance,” called the state deputy director of epidemiology, Eduardo Bustos Vázquez, this Friday night in conversation with private doctors in the state.
He pointed out that Pachuca continues to be the municipality with the highest number of positive and active cases with 440, while Tulancingo also occupies a second place in this index with 352, Tizayuca with 175, Tula with 135 cases and Tepeapulco with 105 cases.
“The southern region continues to be the one with the highest number of infections and active cases in the entity, but also in the central area,” said the specialist.
He explained that in this registry, the population of women increased in the registry of infections with a percentage point compared to the state average, reaching 65 percent, while men are 35 percent.
Finally, he indicated that of the 780 cases studied, 415 were positive, “so it is necessary not to lower our guard, stay at home and above all, continue to apply sanitary measures,” he concluded.
