Since a year ago Laura Bozzo was sued by Gabriel Soto and Irina Baeva for defamation, It denounces that it joins the legal problems that the Peruvian woman faces with the Mexican authority for tax evasion. To find out how the process of the actors against the driver is going, Soto and Baeva’s lawyer said that Bozzo could be found guilty if she does not testify in said case.
In an interview with First hand, the legal representative of Gabriel Soto and Irina Baeva mentioned that in a few days there will be a release of evidence before the authority where Laura Bozzo must appear, but if she did not do so, a judge would declare her guilty on the charge of which the actors accuse her.
“On September 20 at 10 am we will have a testimony of Mrs. Laura Bozzo and Gabriel and Irina, we are notified to release the confessional tests, inspection of all the videos that we offered as evidence. In the event that Mrs. Laura Bozzo does not appear to testify, she will be declared confessed of the positions that were previously classified as illegal by the judge ”.
The lawyer clarified that Laura Bozzo is who should come to testify and is not allowed let your lawyer or someone else do it.
“When you offer the confessional evidence of one of the parties in a very personal way, or people who represent him, the judge thus admitted it, then no one can appear on his behalf when it is a natural person, if he were a legal person if he can be represented by an attorney-in-fact ”.
The specialist explained that in case Laura Bozzo is arrested before the release of evidence is carried out, a civil judge must go to the prison where the driver is located to take your statement.
“She is a fugitive and that if before the hearing she was admitted to prison it would complicate the situation for us, then the civil judge who handles the issue of non-pecuniary damage would have to go to the prison where she was admitted and there she would take her statement.”
Since the driver’s whereabouts are unknown at the moment, the lawyer stated that In case of no-show, the evidence against her will be shown and that if she is found guilty, Laura Bozzo will have to pay a certain amount of money to Gabriel Soto and Irina Baeva.
“At the stage of execution of the sentence we have to give (to the judge) the patrimonial and economic elements of the defendant, that is, Laura Bozzo, and the judge will set the amount of the sentence. There must be financial compensation and an extract from the sentence in the media ”.
