Black Friday 2021 should be the biggest ever for e-commerce. Invoicing from e-commerce in this edition totaled R$5.4 billion, an increase of 5.8% compared to the 2020 campaign.
Another survey by Neotrust, partial until 5 pm on Friday (26), showed that the total number of purchases made via e-commerce totaled 5,653,116 orders. The national average purchase ticket also increased 5% compared to the last campaign, reaching R$ 703.37.

The most purchased product categories, in order, are: Fashion and Accessories (1st), Beauty and Perfumery (2nd), Telephony (3rd), Small Appliances (4th) and Home Appliances (5th). Most orders are made by women (57%), while men are responsible for 43% of purchases.
The age group that consumes the most is between 26 and 35 years old (35.08%). In second come consumers aged 36 to 50 (33.88%). Next comes the age group of consumers up to 25 years old (16.65%). Brazilians over 51 years of age occupy the lowest percentage of online purchases, representing 14.38% of orders placed.
According to the survey, the region that consumes the most during Black Friday is the Southeast, 56.48% of the total billed in the entire country. Next is the Northeast (18.02%), the South (15.26% ), Midwest (7.45%) and North (2.80%).
