Charles Leclerc drove hard at his Ferrari safety fence in the second practice of the Saudi Arabian GP race.
Formula one the last previous race of the season, the first-ever Saudi Arabian gp opened on practice day at Jeddah Street. The second exercises in the evening ended just before the end of the training session, when Charles Leclerc drove at high speed to the fence of his Ferrari. The exercise was no longer continued, and most importantly, Leclerc got out of his own wrecked car and announced that he was okay.
In the first exercises of the day, the drivers got to know the new and fast-paced track. The fastest lap was recorded by Mercedes Lewis Hamilton, and Hamilton was the fastest in other exercises as well. A teammate who finished third in the opening practice Valtteri Bottas was second in the evening rehearsals, the difference to Hamilton was 0.061 seconds.
Red Bull fighting for the World Cup title with Hamilton Max Verstappen was the second and fourth in the day’s exercises. In the evening, AlphaTaurin still finished third Pierre Gasly. Verstappen was 0.056 seconds behind Hamilton in the opening practice and 0.195 seconds in the other practice.
Verstappen will lead Hamilton by eight points in the World Cup, and the Dutchman have a chance to secure his first championship in the race on Sunday.
Alfa Romeon Kimi Raikkonen was the 16th and 14th of the exercises. In the evening session, Räikkönen had a difference of 1.258 seconds.
