Third dose Covid vaccine, in Greece at three months

In Greece, the third booster dose of the Covid vaccine three months after the previous one. This was established by the Hellenic National Commission which reviewed its recommendations, deciding in favor of administering the third dose of the anti-Coronavirus vaccine to all citizens over the age of 18 three months after vaccination with two doses. So far the booster was given six months apart.

The decision follows the identification of the Omicron e variant in the face of winter temperatures that require additional protection, explained the Head of Health of Athens, Marios Themistokleous.
