Espoo the city is exploring the possibility of moving the village of Hentta as a gathering place for residents of Suurpello and the Hentta area.
The city of Espoo was to change the use of the village house and sell the house, but the political groups decided that the transfer of the house as a meeting place for the residents should at least be investigated.
The village house is an old red log house with a size of just over 160 square meters from 1920. The condition of the building is poor.
On Monday, the Premises and Housing Division of the Espoo City Government returned the council initiative for the village house in Henta to new preparations. The chamber asked the city to evaluate various options such as renting and selling the building and their cost comparisons for a final decision on the fate of the Hentta village house.
