The EU will impose personal sanctions against a number of Belarusian citizens

The EU summit decided to introduce additional personal sanctions against a number of Belarusian citizens. About this on May 25 stated European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told reporters in Brussels.

Also, a recording of the conversation between the pilot of the aircraft and the Belarusian air traffic controller appeared on the Internet, according to which the controller advised the aircraft to land for safety reasons.

On board the aircraft was the founder of the NEXTA Telegram channel recognized as extremist in Belarus, Roman Protasevich. After the plane landed, he was detained.

The Investigative Committee of Belarus opened a criminal case on the fact of the false report about the mining of the aircraft. The mining data was not confirmed.
