The conclusion of an agreement between the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and Rosreestr helps to accelerate the development of new satellite and satelliteless navigation systems. This was announced on Saturday, September 4, during the Eastern Economic Forum by the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Alexander Sergeev.
“The agreement between Rosreestr and the Academy of Sciences will allow us to introduce the latest observation techniques in geographic and geodetic measurements, including using data on the Earth’s gravitational field. They will help to carry out such studies at a new level, at a higher spatial resolution – of the order of several centimeters, ”the head of the Russian Academy of Sciences quotes the message. TASS…
Thus, according to Sergeev, the introduction of the above methods helps to accelerate the creation of new generations of the GLONASS navigation system and other products that have a positive effect on the efficiency of the Russian economy. In particular, the president of the scientific community singled out the creation of satelliteless navigation systems as the most promising direction.
The head of Rosreestr, Oleg Skufinsky, for his part, indicated an interest in improving the quality of services through partnership with the Russian Academy of Sciences.
“In this work, we rely on the best Russian and international practices, involve the scientific and expert community, leading universities, and train our employees. Our agreement, signed in the Year of Science and Technology, will become the basis for advanced research and development in the field of land and real estate, ”he said.
The day before, on September 3, Oleg Skufinsky spoke about the intention of Rosreestr to provide a single platform for cadastral valuation in 2024. According to him, real estate appraisal based on various software makes it necessary to adjust prices by 30% – a problem that will be solved through the operation of a single platform.
